Oscilloscope software

R&S®RTP, R&S®RTO, R&S®RTE, R&S®RTA4000 and R&S®RTM3000 oscilloscopes support triggering and decoding of ARINC 429 buses. You can set up decoding in seconds. For detailed analysis, results can be viewed as color-coded protocols and/or in a table. Errors are identified efficiently and reliably using the hardware-accelerated trigger. You can trigger on word start, word stop, label, data and various error conditions.

You can analyze the decoded bus frames with a color coded data overlay over the bus signal. Address and data content can be displayed in hex, bin and ASCII format. The flexible screen setup allows you to always have an excellent overview. Additionally, the protocols can be displayed in a concise table.

Reliable isolation of protocol events and errors is possible with the protocol-specific trigger. R&S oscilloscopes are ideal for finding errors quickly because their high acquisition rates allow decoding of protocol-specific trigger results. Hardware-based triggering is available on specific protocol content, e.g. addresses or data, as well as on protocol errors.

Powerful search and navigation capabilities

Comprehensive search functions simplify the analysis of long signal sequences. Search for waveforms based on various criteria, such as signal faults and protocol content. All detected events are shown in a table with timestamps. Individual events can be examined in a zoom window by easily navigating between events.
