Measuring Multi-Antenna Isolation Using a Multiport VNA

The proliferation of wireless technology is leading to higher densities of RF transmitter and receiver antennas. In a single platform antennas are now in close proximity.

In this paper, antenna to antenna isolation using a Rohde & Schwarz multiport port Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) is analyzed. These antenna to antenna isolation measurements are presented in generalized real-world deployments that are applicable to IoT, automotive, aircraft, submarines and more.
