Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Head of Facilities, the Supply Chain Specialist supports end-to-end supply chain operations, working closely with Production, Warehouse, and department heads to ensure efficient project delivery. The role contributes to strategic sourcing, improves supply chain agility, and supports operational effectiveness.
The position also assists with logistics and facilities operations across both Sydney and Brisbane when required, including inventory management in SAP, best-practice logistics processes, and ensuring facilities activities comply with WH&S requirements.
Your tasks
- Maintain accurate master data in SAP for materials, vendors, pricing, and relevant supply chain attributes with support of the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Manage data flow and synchronization between SAP and our Product Data Management system;
- Review purchase requisitions and source quotes from Suppliers.
- Coordinate onboarding process of new suppliers and creation of Material no.
- Raise and maintain purchase orders in SAP.
- Monitor delivery dates, payments and process any claims.
- Prepare and gather shipping documentation, track shipments and resolving issues with logistics companies.
- Support inventory management through stock monitoring, data analysis, cycle counts, production needs and SAP reconciliation.
- Provide data insights to support supply chain planning, forecasting, supplier risk management and continuous improvement.
- Working with department heads in implementing day to day logistics process and ensure all equipment is managed using SAP and other managing tools.
- Liaising with Brisbane production warehouse as required and implementing storage management processes/systems using new SAP modules/processes
- Ensure all clients and R&S inventories are stored and managed in proper location, ensuring accurate stock levels. and collate monthly reports for management.
