Our latest ATC direction finder solutions enhance safety at civil and military airports as well as en route. The systems take bearings and indicate them on a polar display or in the radar screen. These allow the controllers to quickly and reliably identifying the calling aircraft, enhancing the situational awareness and avoiding call-sign confusion.

Security and quality is key in the operation of ATC networks. Rohde & Schwarz has developed innovative security technology and implemented it in critical infrastructures, such as railway, industrial networks or telecoms. In addition, system wide VoIP quality within the network can be monitored by our new carrier grade VoIP quality assurance system.

T&M equipment for high-precision field testing of ground based augmentation systems (GBAS).

Our portable signal level and modulation analyzer is specifically designed for servicing terrestrial ground equipment. The instrument’s high accuracy and speed make it ideal for high-precision measurements in the field. A new software option allows to test the VHF data broadcast of ground-based satellite navigation systems which enables verifications and measurements of GBAS installations on the ground and in the air (flight inspection).
