Rohde & Schwarz Romania SRL is the Romanian subsidiary of the Rohde & Schwarz, a global technology group headquartered in Munich, Germany, with a history dating back to 1933. The company develops innovative solutions in electronic test & measurement, secure communications, radio monitoring, cybersecurity, and broadcast & media technologies, serving industrial, governmental, and critical infrastructure customers worldwide.
Rohde & Schwarz Romania SRL benefits from a long-standing local presence that dates back to the mid-1970s. As early as 1974–1975, a dedicated team within the Institute for Electronic Research (ICE) provided service support for Rohde & Schwarz equipment in Romania. After 1990, the company operated through a local representation partner, followed by the establishment of the official Rohde & Schwarz Commercial Representation in 1994.
In 2001, Rohde & Schwarz Romania Services SRL was founded to further strengthen local service capabilities, and since 2008, sales and service activities have been unified under Rohde & Schwarz Romania SRL. Today, the company serves customers in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, delivering professional sales, service, and support in line with Rohde & Schwarz’s global standards.
