ZVH: How to generate Touchstone S2P files?
Answer
Please do the following:
- MODE => NETWORK ANALYZER
- CAL => Full 2-Port High Acc
- MEAS => Other Meas => Reflection S11 + S22
- TRACE => Select Trace => 2
- MEAS => Other Meas => Transmission S21 + S12
- Execute the measurement
- Connect the ZVH to a PC
- Open on the PC the ZVHView
- Instrument => Display Sweep
- File => Save As ... => Save as type: TouchStone Files (*.S2P)
- Save
Instead of connecting the ZVH to a PC you can also store the result of the ZVH on a USB-Stick and open this result then in the ZVHView.
