The Rohde & Schwarz radio communication tester R&S^®CMW500 provides the features to analyze the behavior of the GSM, UMTS (WCDMA) and LTE mobile stations very detailed

For industrial applications and for in-vehicle systems in automotive industry, usually turnkey radio modules are used. For most users, basic knowledge might be sufficient to operate and test these RF modules.

Therefore, this seminar focuses on basic operation of R&S^®CMW500 to test mobile stations. Selected transmitter and receiver tests are covered. The participants will operate the R&S^®CMW500 in small groups and perform the basic tests by themselves. This seminar is the follow-up of the seminar “GSM, UMTS and LTE: Fundamentals and RF-Measurements on Mobile Station”.
