Repeatedly scanning the real-time bandwidth of a wideband tuner (up to 20 MHz bandwidth in HF & VHF/UHF) for detection of continuous fixed-frequency emissions, based on their spectral signal energies.
The detection results are shown in a list. By the usage of additional classification units and direction finder automatically the signal type and emitter direction/position will be added.
Repeatedly processing the real-time bandwidth snapshots of a wideband tuner (up to 20 MHz bandwidth in HF & VHF/UHF) for detection of LPI systems (low probability of interception) like burst transmissions and hoppers, based on their spectral signal energies and technical parameters.
The results are shown in statistical histograms and are used to provide target re-identification by comparison against target-profiles.
