Purchasing : Summer Intern- Procurement, Coppell, TX

Your tasks

• Process purchase requests into POs, communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders from PO placement to receipt, and expedite orders to meet schedules.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers, reviewing quotes, maintaining vendor relationships, and participating in procurement projects or process improvements.
• Support order processing: enter data accurately, track shipments, update ERP systems, and uncover cost savings via supplier analysis.

Your qualifications

• Rising Jr or Sr year pursuing degree in supply chain, logistics, or related fields
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Summer resident of the greater Dallas area. We are unable to provide housing or relocation for summer interns
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

This is an hourly position, paying $22-$27/hour, minimum of 30 hours per week.
