The CMX500 radio communication tester is a future-proof solution for 5G NR testing, with R&S®CMsquares, an intuitive and flexible web based user interface.

The voice and audio analysis expert HEAD acoustics has decided in favor of the 5G test solution from Rohde & Schwarz for verification of voice and audio services of 5G mobile devices. The upgraded R&S CMX500 5G one-box signaling tester features a significantly reduced footprint and easier handling combined with debugging and analysis capabilities, which support the end users’ testing of voice services.

Rohde & Schwarz submitted its latest 5G NR protocol conformance test cases to the Global Certification Forum (GCF) at the GCF CAG#72 meeting in October 2022 and successfully passed verification. The China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL) Terminal labs at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) successfully conducted specific absorption rate and hearing aid compatibility testing for 5G new radio mobile devices. The lab upgraded their DASY8 high-precision electromagnetic near-field scanning platform from SPEAG, the leading provider of dosimetric test systems, with the R&S CMX500 OBT 5G one-box signaling tester from Rohde & Schwarz.
