Application Engineer - Test & Measurement Equipment

Would you like to work professionally with advanced test and measurement equipment for the electronics industry? Our products are used in research, development, production, installation and service, and they are recognized for their high quality and technical performance. This makes it important that you have a solid understanding of HF (high frequency), wireless communication and signal processing, including basic knowledge of EMC and relevant communication standards.

As Application Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting our customers and sales organization with technical expertise, product demonstrations, application support and after-sales assistance. You will work closely with both existing and new customers, helping them find the right technical and commercial solutions for their needs. You will also be involved in installation activities related to EMC turnkey solutions and contribute to the preparation and execution of seminars and webinars across the Nordic countries and the Baltics.

Tasks

• Supporting the sales organization with technical product expertise and application knowledge
• Demonstrating instruments and solutions to existing and potential customers
• Providing application support and after-sales support
• Participating in installation activities for EMC turnkey solutions
• Advising customers on technical and commercial solutions
• Acting as a reliable sparring partner for customers, colleagues and international product specialists

You will join a small, high performing Nordic sales team covering a broad international territory, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Baltics. Each team member owns their market with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely on strategy, key pursuits and customer engagements when it matters most. Daily, you will work with experienced business development professionals and have direct access to senior leadership responsible for the Nordic business. The work you will do matters. Rohde & Schwarz test and measurement solutions are used every day in research, development, production, installation and service across the electronics industry. The role goes beyond traditional equipment sales. Customer engagements are technical, consultative and long term, with a focus on solving complex measurement challenges and enabling customers to develop, validate and deliver high-performing electronic products.
