Bias tee limits and calibration considerations

Question

I want to use the bias tee. Should I execute the calibration with a connected voltage source or not? What are the current limits?

Answer

We recommend executing the calibration without a connected voltage source.

This will prevent the current from a high supply voltage from exceeding the limits when connecting a short or load.

Up to 300 mA, the results of the measurement will not be influenced when calibrated without a voltage supply.
