In the frame of our strongly growing business, assuring quality and delivery of sourced components is of great importance. At the same time, volume and complexity of sourced components are continuously growing.
This role will introduce electronic, mechanic and electromechanic materials for Rohde & Schwarz, and will assure and develop quality of suppliers and materials in collaboration with our internal stakeholders.
This new resource will allow to:
- Improve quality of sourced components and suppliers
- Increase capacity for component introduction
Tasks
- Conduct qualification and introduction of material for electronic, mechanic and
electromechanic components in collaboration with stakeholders - Assure material conformity to relevant internal or external requirements
- Define qualification measures and incoming material inspections
- Initiate and update material and supplier data
- Initiate, drive and solve quality notifications, reports and actions
- Drive root cause analysis and actions
- Consult development, engineering, projects and production
- Identify, drive or support improvements of materials or suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits
