End-to-end e-mail encryption means a message is encrypted on the sender’s device and can only be decrypted by the intended recipient. No one along the transmission path can read or alter the message or its contents. End-to-end encryption can be combined with a digital signature; when an e-mail is both signed and encrypted, it confirms the message came from the stated sender and thus verifies their identity.
Rohde & Schwarz Secure E-Mail web interface is our internally hosted solution for secure e-mail communication if no key material (S/MIME or PGP) is known by our Secure Mail Gateway and no other solution has been established.
To register, request your R&S contact person to send you an encrypted e-mail. If your key material is already known, then the encrypted e-mail will be delivered directly to you. If your key material is not known, then this e-mail will be retained at our Secure E-Mail web interface and an automatically generated registration e-mail will be sent to your mailbox from your contact person.

Registration is not required if your organization uses domain-based encryption. Please follow the steps in the chapter "Domain based S/MIME & PGP encryption".
S/MIME
If you have received a registration mail but have a S/MIME certificate, reply to the registration mail by signing the e-mail with your S/MIME certificate.
If your S/MIME certificate is issued by a well-known provider, it will be automatically trusted, and future encrypted e-mail traffic will be delivered directly to you.
PGP
If you have received a registration mail but want to use PGP, please register at the Rohde & Schwarz Secure E-Mail web interface and upload your public PGP key as described in the user guide (see chapter 2.12 and 2.13). The user guide can be found in the download section below.
Please send either your PGP domain key or your S/MIME domain certificate to secureemailgw-admin@rohde-schwarz.com in a zipped file format. In case of a S/MIME domain certificate, ensure to send the issuer certificate as well.
