Test and measurement solutions include high-quality spectrum and signal analyzers, radio measurement and IP quality assurance systems. In-depth radio testing and calibration

The R&S®CMA180 is the ATC radio testing market standard for Rohde & Schwarz and other radios

The R&S®CMA180 test set is an all-in-one platform that performs in-depth analysis of air traffic control (ATC) radios, as well as NavAid systems such as ILS, VOR and MB. The integrated signal generator and spectrum and vector network analyzer in the R&S®CMA180 can help analyze signal quality, measure power, measure modulation frequency response and perform squelch sensitivity tests on the transmitter and receiver sides. The R&S®CMA180 battery and antenna mean the instrument is standalone and ideal for aircraft maintenance. These functions can also be automated with the R&S®CMArun software extension and documented in a single report. The R&S®CMA180 features analog and ED-137B/C-compatible IP interfaces. The I/Q recorder allows RF signals to be recorded via the dedicated RF ports.

Air traffic control RF communications have specific requirements. Rohde & Schwarz has prepared a special set of measurement tools to meet them. The R&S®Cable Rider ZPH is intended for VHF-band antenna and cable testing. It provides cable loss and distance-to-fault measurements, antenna and filter matching, power measurements, as well as entry-level interference hunting features. Other handhelds, such as the R&S®FSH or R&S®ZVH complement the versatile profile.

Signal monitoring and interference hunting

Clean the spectrum and identify, locate and eliminate interference with the R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH or the R&S®PR200

The R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH has comprehensive spectrum monitoring functions for interference hunting. When combined with a directional antenna, the R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH can pinpoint the source of the signal on a map and listen in to AM or FM modulated signals. The R&S®PR200 improves your interference hunting. It offers real-time continuous and simultaneous spectrum monitoring of the entire ATC voice band. Even very short bursts can be effectively visualized. The R&S®PR200 can also demodulate the signal on one frequency and play it out to provide acoustic information about the interference magnitude. Together with a high-precision direction finding antenna, the R&S®PR200 provides a fully automated, dynamic interference location estimation in drive tests.

VoIP and RF quality assurance

24/7 voice quality monitoring and assurance with R&S®AVQA;

Users expect uncompromising, end-to-end quality. Providers have to make sure that every element remains fully functional all the time. AVQA provides accurate and selective IP and RF monitoring with probes that capture raw IP data at multiple network nodes and aggregate it for analysis, interpretation and trend recognition. AVQA provides analytics for ground-to-ground and air-to-ground calls. The user-friendly AVQA graphical interface provides an overview of relevant performance metrics to give operators real-time quantitative feedback about the state of their system and highlight particular aspects.

Radar monitoring

Radar measuring with the R&S®ZNH handheld vector network analyzer and many add-ons

The R&S®ZNH setup in combination with the R&S®ZNH-K45 vector voltmeter is ideal for field use in several measurement scenarios that compare two devices, including calibration of monopulse radar installations. The R&S®ZNH-K29 option complements the pulse measurement capabilities. The option is a modular add-on that lets the R&S®ZNH perform precise pulse-and-peak measurements in combination with a wideband power sensor. The setup is useful when installing and maintaining radar systems, since R&S®ZNH can measure pulses as short as 50 ns.

ILS/MB, VOR, GBAS, DME measurement and calibration with the R&S®EVSF1000 and R&S®EVSG1000

R&S has a broad portfolio of test and measurement solutions that covers the entire lifecycle of NavAid systems. The R&S®EVSG1000 is ideal for ground-based field measurements, while the R&S®EVSF1000 enables in-flight inspections. The portfolio also includes signal generation equipment for receiver testing, such as the R&S®CMA180 on-board equipment radio test set or the R&S®SMBV100B and R&S®SMA100B vector signal generators. The R&S®FSH vector voltmeter helps with antenna and cable testing.

1. Il concorso a premi “10 anni di oscilloscopi Rohde & Schwarz” (di seguito il “Concorso”) è organizzato da Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Mühldorfstraße 15, 81671 Monaco di Baviera, Germania, Tel. +49 89 41 29 0 (di seguito “R&S).

2. Tutti i partecipanti possono registrarsi al concorso dal 1 gennaio 2020 al 31 dicembre 2020 comunicando il loro nome, azienda e indirizzo e-mail lavorativo.

3. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita e non è legata all’acquisto di alcun bene o servizio.

4. Il concorso è aperto alle sole persone giuridiche e solo le persone giuridiche potranno vincere i premi. Non è ammessa la partecipazione delle persone fisiche col proprio nome e account, ma un rappresentante di una persona giuridica può compilare il modulo di partecipazione in nome e per conto della persona giuridica.

5. Il premio è costituito da un oscilloscopio R&S®RTB2000 tra i 10 messi in palio nel periodo dal 1 gennaio 2020 al 31 dicembre 2020:

6. L’estrazione avrà luogo nella sede di Rohde & Schwarz di Muehldorstrasse 15, 81671 Monaco di Baviera. Il vincitore di un premio sarà informato via e-mail entro cinque (5) giorni lavorativi.

7. Il rappresentante autorizzato dalla persona giuridica dovrà informare Rohde & Schwarz della volontà di accettare il premio. In caso di mancata accettazione o di mancata risposta entro due (2) settimane, verrà estratto un nuovo vincitore. Se non si potrà identificare un vincitore entro quattro (4) settimane, il concorso avrà termine e il premio non verrà assegnato.

8. I dipendenti di R&S, i membri delle loro famiglie e le persone coinvolte nel processo di estrazione e i membri delle loro famiglie sono esclusi dalla partecipazione.

9. Non è previsto alcun equivalente in denaro o permuta del premio. I premi non son trasferibili. Tutte le eventuali tasse, imposte, tributi o altri addebiti dovuti nel paese di residenza saranno a carico del partecipante al concorso.

10. I dati personali verranno trattati al solo scopo dell’estrazione del premio e cancellati dopo quattro (4) settimane dall’estrazione, salvo diverso accordo.

11. Ogni partecipante che non rispetta quanto indicato in questi Termini & Condizioni potrà essere squalificato da R&S da questo Concorso. In tali casi, i premi potranno anche essere ritirati retrospettivamente. Qualora un premio venga ritirato retrospettivamente a causa del non rispetto di questi Termini & Condizioni, dovrà essere reso dal vincitore a sue spese, inviandolo all’indirizzo di R&S indicato al punto 1, dopodiché verrà determinato in nuovo vincitore.

12. I partecipanti non potranno richiedere i premi di questo concorso e non è ammesso alcun ricorso legale a questo proposito.

13. Il concorso ed ogni altro legame contrattuale di conseguenza derivante tra R&S e il rispettivo partecipante sarà regolato della legge tedesca, senza possibilità di ricorso in caso di conflitto tra legislazioni. Il tribunale di Monaco di Baviera avrà giurisdizione esclusiva in caso di ogni disputa diretta o indiretta derivante dalla partecipazione a questo Concorso.
