Updating API macros

How can I update API macros in EMC32?

Answer

First you have to download the updated macros. The updated macros are available in an EMC32 backup file. Below is a screenshot example from the Rohde & Schwarz website:

The backup file only contains updated API macros that will replace the older ones,

After you have downloaded the file you need, perform the following steps:

• Start EMC32
• In the 'File...' menu select 'Backup/Restore'.
• In the dialog select 'Restore' and activate the item 'System folder'
• Select the directory for the backup file
• Start the restore process

The restore process will overwrite all existing files. Confirm the message that appears with 'Yes'.

The process is finished when the message "All files have successfully been restored" is displayed.
