By reference to settings and measurements with a vector network analyzer R&S®ZNA we are demonstrating the de-embedding process of a PCIe5 connector integrated in a test fixture. We are running the auto-calibration of the R&S®ZNA and checking the test fixture quality while measuring insertion and return loss. After adding the PCIe5 connector we are measuring key parameters of the whole test setup in the time and frequency domain. By means of the R&S®ZNA’s de-embedding tool we are subtracting out the results of the fixture and receive the results dedicated to the connector.
