Adaptive digital linearization for Satellite Uplink Amplifiers

The unique adaptive digital linearization feature allows the operation of the SSPAs in a high-efficiency mode and at the same time significantly increases the signal quality of the satellite uplink both inside and outside the carriers' bandwidth. This provides many benefits in size, weight, energy efficiency and signal quality parameters, as well as on the linear output power level.

The Rohde & Schwarz PKU100 satellite uplink amplifier is the first SSPA to offer adaptive digital linearization at RF level. This enables it to provide characteristics previously only available from tube amplifiers. It also brings the advantages of SSPAs to operators with very high demands in size, weight and linearity of their satellite uplink amplifier technology.

In addition, it offers innovative features like self-monitoring and an integrated system control for redundancy configurations. In combination with an intuitive web GUI and an SNMP interface, the Ku-band satellite uplink amplifiers from Rohde & Schwarz are the smartest solutions available.
