Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will manage the execution of existing build and delivery processes for governmental and non-governmental projects. This role bridges the gap between high-level engineering designs and physical deployment. The Supervisor ensures that all hardware, including switches, controllers, and power distribution units is installed, cabled, and labeled according to strict quality standards, on schedule, and within safety guidelines. This position is based in our new facility in Frederick, MD and requires being onsite 5 days per week. A strong background in LEAN practices is essential, as this role will be pivotal in applying continuous improvement strategies to meet customer requirements.

Your tasks

  • Ensure all installations strictly adhere to provided Rack Elevation Diagrams and Wiring Schematics.
  • Implement and enforce a rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) checklist to eliminate cabling errors or hardware misplacements before systems move to the configuration/testing phase.
  • Manage the "cable management" standard to ensure airflow optimization and ease of maintenance (e.g., Velcro routing, proper slack management).
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure all necessary components are available for scheduled builds.
  • Work closely with Network Engineers and Design Engineers to resolve discrepancies between design documents and physical constraints.
  • Coordinate with the Integration and QA team to ensure smooth hand-offs from physical installation to software configuration.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Production Manager regarding throughput and bottleneck issues.
  • Utilize LEAN practices to support continuous improvement throughout the production process.
