We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Travel Specialist to support increasing employee travel. Top candidates will be familiar with US Federal Government travel requirements and tools. This is a remote position, however candidates must be based in the Central or Eastern part of the country.

Your tasks

  • Create and modify complex, multi-destination domestic and international itineraries for corporate travelers and executives for all government-related travel to include air, car, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
  • Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers
  • Strong understanding of the client travel policy to guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
  • Excellent knowledge of travel supplier rules
  • Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties
  • Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
  • May perform other duties as back up to understaffed areas of department as assigned

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Government and Corporate Travel
  • Knowledge of Federal Government Travel Regulations
  • Recent Sabre skills required
  • Experience and confidence with complex ticketing and exchanges is required
  • Must have the ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong Team Player
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • High attention to detail, ability to recognize potential problems, and take proactive steps to mitigate escalations.
  • Demonstrate excellent professional customer service.
  • Strong problem solving and/or critical thinking skills.
  • Reside in the Eastern or Central US Time Zones
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have valid work authorization.

The total compensation for this position is $24-$36/hour. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
