R&S®ComBox provides communications technology for other Rohde & Schwarz devices and stations

R&S®ComBox combines a powerful router with other functions frequently used in monitoring systems, all in a compact weatherproof case. It is ideal for connecting both individual devices and complete stations. Though designed for outdoors, the R&S®ComBox can also be used in vehicles, shelters, etc. making remote network monitoring network flexible and efficient. The R&S®ComBox supports several communications technologies for maximum flexibility, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, fiber optic and cellular networks. The base unit includes five Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, two of which can be implemented as fiber optic interfaces. The integrated Wi-Fi module allows wireless remote control. The LTE modem enables device control from a central location. An external, outdoor DC power supply feeds the R&S®ComBox.
