Rohde & Schwarz presents cutting-edge space technologies at Munich Space Summit 2026

Rohde & Schwarz will join industry leaders at the Munich Space Summit, taking place from March 23rd – 27th, 2026. The Summit brings together the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit and the Munich New Space Summit, creating a platform for discussion and collaboration within the space sector.

The event focuses on the relationship between emerging commercial space activities ("New Space") and established satellite navigation technologies. Rohde & Schwarz recognizes this crucial synergy and will participate in both segments of the Summit. The company’s solutions address current challenges facing the space industry, including the increasing vulnerability of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) to interference, spoofing and jamming. Rohde & Schwarz aims to support reliable positioning, timing and service availability through comprehensive testing and monitoring solutions. The company’s technologies also support the validation of satellite and ground systems throughout their lifecycle, spanning design, qualification, deployment, and operation. By proactively monitoring satellite links and the radio spectrum to detect and address potential issues, Rohde & Schwarz aims to maintain service availability for vital applications across telecom, automotive, defense, and beyond.

In the breaks the company will present two key demonstrations at the entrance hall. During the New Space part of the summit, the FSVA signal analyzer will be showcased to highlight Rohde & Schwarz’s testing capabilities for satellite communication systems. In the satellite navigation part, a demonstration featuring the R&S®SMBV100B signal generator will illustrate the creation of realistic satellite navigation signals. Discussions about satellite communication monitoring are welcome.

Beyond the exhibition floor, Rohde & Schwarz is also participating in the conference panel Defence & Secure Communications – Europe’s Sovereignty in Space. This session will address the urgent need to protect European space-based infrastructure from escalating threats including cyberattacks, jamming, and spoofing, while reducing reliance on external providers. The panel will explore strategies for building resilient networks, incorporating quantum-safe encryption, and fostering a coordinated European approach to secure space communication.

Rohde & Schwarz’s participation underscores its dedication to providing the tools and expertise necessary to keep satellite communication secure and available. More information: https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/solutions/satellite-testing/satellite-testing_233626.html
