Brief description

The R&S®GW5910 Media Gateway enables the connection of devices/systems that do not have an IP interface. The media gateway converts analog audio for legacy radios, modems and crypto devices or the BAA system to integrate them into the IP based NAVICS system.
Discrete signals allow the control of various devices. The integrated Ethernet switch can be used for connecting IT equipment.
The R&S®GW5910 combines multiple functions in a single compact device.

VoIP gateway

Transformation of VoIP and analog signals

The R&S®GW5910 NAVICS media gateway acts as a gateway between the NAVICS VoIP switching core and devices that need analog signals. Analog signals can then be transported using an existing Ethernet network.

Low latency

Low-latency signal transport

The R&S®GW5910 NAVICS media gateway forwards low-latency signals over Ethernet networks. This allows the switching of data link equipment and transport of signals via Ethernet.
