Compact Tx/Rx antenna specially designed for vehicle based operations

The R&S®HK056 broadband mobile antenna covers the extremely wide frequency range from 600 MHz to 3000 MHz. It is designed for mobile transmission and reception in connection with multiband, multirole radios (MMR) in mobile and semi-stationary communications scenarios. The antenna has outstanding characteristics. No tuning equipment is required, making it ideal for hopping and multichannel operation. The antenna comes with a base spring. If it hits an obstacle, it bends and automatically returns to its vertical position.

The R&S®HK056 covers the extremely wide frequency range from 600 MHz to 3000 MHz for joint tactical radio systems (JTRS). It is designed for transmission and reception in mobile and semi-stationary communications scenarios.

High efficiency

The R&S®HK056 has a fully passive design. The outstanding characteristics require no tuning equipment. No attenuators are used to improve the VSWR since they would reduce efficiency.

Excellent radiation characteristics

The R&S®HK056 is a combination of two dipoles interconnected with a steep-edge diplexer. The optimized radiation behavior increases communications performance.

For highest application requirements

The R&S®HK056 is designed for even the most severe conditions. The antenna elements are integrated in a highly weatherproof radome and connected to the antenna base via a spring element with a tilt and erect function. The R&S®HK056 is suitable for both stationary use and vehicles.

Wide operating temperature range

For unlimited use in most surroundings

The R&S®HK056 has been tested for the wide temperature range from -40°C to +71°C, enabling use in almost all climatic regions.
