Network encryptor from Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity wins international security award

Computing Security Awards 2021: Network encryptor R&S®SITLine ETH NG wins "Security Hardware Product of the Year" category. The data protection solution for cloud environments, R&S®Trusted Gate, also receives an award, "Encryption Solution of the Year".

The R&S SITLine ETH NG network encryptor from IT security company Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity received the Computing Security Award in the "Security Hardware Product of the Year" category on December 2, 2021 in London. R&S SITLine ETH NG offers Ethernet encryption solutions for bandwidths up to 40 Gbit/s. As a layer 2 encryption device, it protects government agencies and enterprises against espionage and manipulation of data during transmission that is transported via fixed network, microwave or satellite links using Ethernet. The device is approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Another product from Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity also received an award: R&S Trusted Gate won in the "Encryption Solution of the Year" category. The cloud data protection gateway solution makes it possible to extract data from a cloud service and store it anywhere. According to a recent legal opinion, R&S Trusted Gate offers organizations the ability to retain sovereignty over their data and meet the requirements of the GDPR in their own IT environment. With R&S Trusted Gate, the advantages of external cloud services can be used without transferring personal data to an "insecure third country".
