Rohde & Schwarz Satellite Industry Days 2026 guided by the motto “From Earth to Orbit”

Rohde & Schwarz will host its sixth Satellite Industry Days on June 16 and 17, 2026, at its Munich campus. Under the theme “From Earth to Orbit: Driving innovation, sovereignity and scalable space systems for a connected tomorrow”, the conference will bring together partners from across the satellite ecosystem, providing a premier forum for practical exchange on technologies, requirements, and applications in the space and satellite sector.

The two-day conference is designed to address the critical challenges of modern space systems. Day one focuses on sovereignty and security in space, exploring resilient communications and RF monitoring. Day two shifts to testing of satellites and ground terminals, diving into 5G NTN technology, AESA antenna validation, and the digitalization of ground segments.

Participants can expect a high-impact program providing technological, regulatory and spectrum related insights that can support architecture decisions, strengthen compliance readiness, and mitigate program risks. The program is of interest to influencers, decision-makers, and developers working in the satellite industry, government organizations, regulatory bodies, or space agencies.

The conference will feature two days of presentations by renowned industry experts from Rohde & Schwarz and industry partners, networking opportunities, and live demonstrations covering a wide range of applications, for example AESA antenna testing, 5G NTN device testing and satellite component testing.

The keynote will be delivered by Dr. Thomas Bohne, Vice President of Signal Intelligence and EW Systems, and Christina Gessner, Executive Vice President Test & Measurement Division. Rohde & Schwarz experts will be joined by distinguished representatives from European Space Agency, ORBiNT, ipoque, Skynopy, SRS, Satellite Connect Europe, Connektica, Work Microwave, Airbus DS, Augusta Space, Bundeswehr University Munich, Hochschule Munich, Sateliot, Gatehouse Satcom, and IIS Fraunhofer.
