Your tasks

Develop and implement high-quality software features tailored to the eCAD environment
Customize, extend and automate Zuken CR-8000 workflows, including Design Force, System Planner, component data and related engineering processes
Develop automation solutions for EPLAN, including API-based extensions, scripting, plug-ins and automated schematic generation
Design and implement software solutions using technologies such as C#, C++ and/or Python
Support error analysis, perform debugging and resolve complex software issues to ensure system stability
Analyze electrical and electronic engineering processes and translate requirements into robust technical solutions
Support integrations between Zuken, EPLAN and related eCAD systems with PLM, ERP, databases and other enterprise applications
Design and maintain interfaces, data flows and API layers, including SQL databases, REST APIs and related technologies
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed features, interfaces and software solutions
Collaborate with eCAD administrators to ensure that developed solutions fit into stable, standardized system environments
Support continuous improvement, standardization and digitalization of engineering processes

Your qualifications

Required:
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Software Engineering or a comparable qualification
Strong software development skills, especially advanced proficiency in C#
Hands-on experience with Zuken CR-8000, ideally including customization, -scripting, data management or system extensions
Good understanding of eCAD engineering processes, electrical/electronic design data and component data structures
Knowledge of EPLAN scripting or EPLAN API development is an advantage
Ability to understand engineering requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions
Fluent English skills, written and spoken
Self-reliant, structured and analytical working style
Strong teamwork skills, open communication and ability to work with international teams Preferred:
Several years of experience in eCAD automation, engineering IT or R&D software development
Deep knowledge of Zuken CR-8000, DS-CR, Design Force, System Planner or component data management
Experience with EPLAN Electric P8 automation, plug-ins, add-ins or API-based development
Additional programming experience in C++, Python, Perl or similar languages
Good knowledge of SQL and database-driven applications
Familiarity with software development methods, version control, DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines
