Broadband directional antenna, ideal for EMC measurements

The linearly polarized R&S®HF1444G14 high-gain EMI microwave antenna is a compact, very broadband receiving antenna for the frequency range from 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz. The antenna combines high antenna gain with half-power beamwidth large enough to test large objects in small EMC chambers. With a single measurement, the antenna
can fully illuminate equipment under test (EUT) that has a cylindrical volume with a diameter of 1.5 m and a height of 1.5 m from a distance of 3 m. This efficiency not only reduces measurement time, enabling higher throughput, but also allows the antenna to be placed closer to the EUT. Testing can therefore be performed in smaller, more cost-efficient EMC chambers. The R&S®HF1444G14 high-gain EMI microwave antenna is ideal for full compliance testing up to 44 GHz in combination with the R&S®ESW44 EMI test receiver.

Wide frequency range

Only one antenna needed

The antenna covers the wide frequency range from 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz. Since only one antenna is needed for the entire frequency range, the measurement time and overall measurement costs are much lower.

High antenna gain combined with beamwidth > 28°

For full illumination of large EUTs from a short distance

The antenna has a cylindrical volume with a diameter of 1.5 m and a height of 1.5 m that can fully illuminate equipment under test (EUT) from a distance of 3 m in a single measurement. Measurement time is reduced for higher throughput and the antenna can be placed closer to the EUT. Testing can be done in smaller, more cost-efficient EMC chambers.

For full compliance testing up to 40 GHz for FCC Part 15 and MIL-STD-461G
