Other : Mixed Signal ASIC CAD Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Support CAD environment for the design of high-speed Mixed-Signal integrated circuits for test and measurement applications
• Troubleshoot CAD interface issues as required
• Coordinate support issues with EDA tool and foundry vendors
• Install and configure EDA tools and Process Design Kits from vendors
• Contribute to enhancement of Mixed-Signal design environment

Your qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years experience.
• Experience/proficiency in Unix administration; Linux OS support
• Strong UNIX/Linux and scripting language (Perl/TCL/csh/etc) .
• Proficient with Mixed Signal SoC EDA front and back end tools
• Experience/proficiency with IC design tool set, Cadence preferred
• Skill programming language, extraction tool set support, Spectre/xrun/ams knowledge is highly desirable
• Experience with setting up, documenting, and maintaining analog and digital IC design flows
• Experience with administration of load/resource balancing compute farms (e.g. LSF, Grid, NC)
• Ability to work independently and develop quick engineering solutions for complex problems
• High problem solving capacity and good tolerance for ambiguity, able to prioritize tasks independently
• Highly motivated even under high work load
• Fluent in English and German
