We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, managing the month-end closing process, preparing managerial reporting, and supporting annual budgeting and forecasting. As a bridge between senior management and financial operational teams, you will supervise junior staff, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive operational efficiency across financial processes.
Your tasks
- • Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
- Oversee and streamline month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Review and consolidate group financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Ensure all accounting entries, financial reporting, and records comply with statutory regulations, local GAAP, and IFRS. • Financial Analysis & Budgeting
- Assist the Finance Director in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct detailed financial performance and operational variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Monitor business cash flow, working capital, and operational KPIs. • Operational & Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting/finance staff, managing daily workflow and performance.
- Optimize and standardize finance policies, internal controls, and operational workflows.
- Support cross-functional projects, internal/external audits, and statutory reporting requirements. • Stakeholder & Compliance Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for external parties, including auditors, tax authorities, banks, and advisors.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, tax laws, and internal control frameworks.
