We are looking for a Software Developer to integrate AI/ML components into our product software stack, including hybrid cloud/on-prem and air-gapped environments. This role requires strong coding skills and a good understanding of ML concepts to ensure seamless interaction between models and product systems in power-constrained settings.

Your tasks

You develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into our product software – from prototype to deployment – ensuring compatibility, performance, and efficiency across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments
You implement AI/ML functionality (such as APIs and SDKs) in Python/C++ for integration into our product software, including deployments in hybrid cloud/on-prem and edge environments
You collaborate with the AI engineering team to translate prototypes into deployable, production-ready code that meets the requirements of various target systems
You ensure compatibility with our product platform (e.g., data formats, performance constraints) for both edge and hybrid environments
You write clean, maintainable code with rigorous testing and documentation, specifically for edge and constrained systems
You troubleshoot integration issues and optimize code for energy efficiency and real-time performance

Your qualifications

You have several years of software development experience with Python and C++
You have a strong background in hybrid cloud/on-prem integration, with several years of experience
You have experience integrating Datastores such as S3, NoSQL, and SQL
You have experience integrating ML models into edge or power-constrained systems, like embedded software and IoT devices
You demonstrate strong proficiency in Python/C++ and software design patterns
You possess a good understanding of edge AI deployment (e.g., model inference on microcontrollers) and hybrid cloud/on-prem integration technologies (e.g., Azure IoT Edge, REST APIs, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Secrets, RBAC)
You have a mindset focused on producing mature, high-quality code, with strong attention to detail
You are able to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment, even across geographical boundaries
You are willing and able to learn domain-specific concepts, such as signal processing or spectrum monitoring
A background in embedded systems or real-time software development is a plus
Fluent knowledge of English in written and spoken language complete your profile, German language skills are a plus
