We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Specialist to promote Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) solutions for test and measurement test solutions (systems). This position will be focused across applicable business segments which include Aerospace and Defense (ADT), Wireless & Communications (WIC), and Industrial, Components and Research (ICR). The ideal candidate will be a master collaborator working across all levels of the R&S organization and utilizing external partnerships to provide customers with solutions comprising of, but far surpassing the capabilities of traditional test and measurement. We are seeking a strong technical sales leader for a national role. Although the center of competency for this role is in Coppell, Texas, we will entertain anyone in the continental US for this role

Your tasks

  • ​​-Create new business opportunities while expanding the Rohde & Schwarz brand awareness in multiple market segments ​-Promote Rohde and Schwarz systems and solutions
  • Enhance discovery phase of the sales cycle for various opportunities to improve win probabilities on a multitude ​-Work closely with other members of the business development team to share information on how our systems can bring success into their markets and customers ​-Collaborate closely with direct sales managers in an effort to aid business à help the sales team close complex systems business ​-Communicate growth opportunities to R&D and sales leadership ​-Grow R&S market share – develop and manage individual and team sales funnel/forecast systems related business ​-Develop business plans for growth markets for various test solutions ​-Develop technical selling prowess by continuously developing professional sales skills within the R&S sales framework

Your qualifications

  • ​​-BSEE or equivalent – Strong RF and Test and Measurement background preferred
  • Passion for selling and “hunting” for new business, market opportunities and challenges for the organization to solve ​-Demonstrated track record of sales leadership preferred in relevant technical sales which can include: ​-OTA test systems (signaling or non) ​-Conformance test systems ​-Standards (5G/6G, for example) ​-Antenna and phased array test ​-RF Parametric testing of mobile devices ​-General purpose test and measurement solutions either deployed or lab-based ​-An established relevant customer ecosystem selling systems – Satellite, DoD, Wireless, ​-An in-depth understanding of RF customers, their issues, challenges and concerns ​-Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% both nationally and internationally ​-Position is fully remote, but customers are scattered around the country. Currently located or willing to relocate to any customer hot spots, for example: California, New Jersey, Dallas, Seattle, or Washington, DC​
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have valid US work authorization.

The total compensation for this position is $153K-$204K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
