Trends in medical device testing: EMC & Coexistence

with a practical demonstration

The increasing use of RF wireless medical devices within a crowded RF environment creates new challenges for EMC & RF testing. Understanding & addressing these test challenges are essential to ensure the safe & effective use of these medical devices. This webinar shows a practical demonstration of wireless coexistence testing according to the ANSI C63.27 standard, more specifically, using the example of the radiated anechoic chamber method, as described in the standard of a test chamber provided by CSA Bayern Group. A wireless patient monitoring device provided by Draeger Medical is used as the device under test. Using standardized test equipment, the Key Performance Indicators(KPI) and Functional Wireless Performance(FWP) is measured.

This webinar will give you an overall idea on how to perform over the air testing for wireless coexistence using standardized test equipment in a controlled RF environment.
