The R&S QPS201 from Rohde & Schwarz is the newest people screening system to be certified by TSA as meeting detection requirements for aviation security checkpoint passenger screening.


TSA airport security screening will get a lot more accurate just in time for some holiday travelers

Airport security is getting an upgrade. Soon, instead of stepping into cylindrical body scanners and staying perfectly still with hands overhead, travelers will be able to pass through an open-sided scanner that works much more quickly, NBC News reported Monday.

The TSA's New Body Scanners Will Speed Up Your Next Trip

No matter how seasoned of a traveler you are, we're willing to bet long security lines get under your skin. It's no surprise, then, that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) continues to work on making that experience better. On Monday, the agency announced a new partnership with Denver International Airport (DEN), where they will trial Enhanced Advanced Imaging Technology (eAIT) for passenger checkpoint security screening.

DIA is first in the nation to test new TSA technology

The Denver International Airport is rolling out brand new technology at one of its security lines on the north end. Called Enhanced Advanced Imaging Technology (eAIT), this technology will provide better security screening while moving passengers through lines faster. “You go through quicker," said Kim Day, CEO of DIA. "It’s a more effective piece of screening for TSA.”
