The R&S®EMC32-K10 option expands the basic R&S®EMC32-EB EMI measurement software to provide test sequences for fully automatic testing. It helps EMC test houses standardize and automate their test sequences while simultaneously increasing efficiency. Measurements can be reliably reproduced, lab routines are simplified, and the user is freed to focus on other tasks. In other words, higher equipment under test (EUT) throughput is achieved, which means lower costs for each EUT.

Fully automatic, reproducible EMI measurements

Predefined, fully automatic test sequences enable even users with no special knowledge of EMC testing to perform measurements quickly and reliably. The test template for automatic EMI measurements displays the test run in graphical form and enables the user to easily configure the individual steps in the measurement.

The first step is to perform a preview measurement, followed by data reduction. Taking the resulting data as a starting point, the user can then perform the final measurement on the disturbance frequencies identified. If a preview measurement has already been performed, the user can go straight to the final measurement.

The latest measurement result always in view

The "virtual instrument" operating concept offered by R&S®EMC32 also remains active during the fully automatic measurement. Therefore, the user has an overview at all times of the latest measurement results, the test progress, and the parameters used.

Automatic report generation

The report generator offers a wealth of alternatives for selecting the components to be included in the test report and for configuring them to individual requirements. Once layouts are created, they can be stored as templates for further tests.
