KT has collaborated with Rohde & Schwarz and VIAVI Solutions to develop non-terrestrial network (NTN) technology that overcomes the disadvantages of long propagation delays in satellite communication environments. With this technology, a bandwidth of more than 10 Mbps is possible even between a geostationary (GEO) satellite and user device. This increased transmission efficiency was leveraged to successfully transmit full HD video. Visitors to Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona can see a demonstration of this technology at the KT booth in Hall 4, Stand 4A60.

Rohde & Schwarz has updated the R&S FSWP for upcoming applications. The new option R&S FSWP-B56G extends the frequency range up to 56 GHz. With the support of external high-end sources as local oscillators it combines the advantage of an easy-to-use signal source analyzer and a high-end phase noise tester. For additive and residual phase noise measurements on amplifiers Rohde & Schwarz has extended the frequency range of the internal signal source up to 54 GHz.
