Systems Engineering : Systems Support Engineer, Technology Systems - Oklahoma City

Your tasks

• Assist in the development of system architect design for documentation of the R&S Certium + 3rd party component products for the FAA ATC towers based on the information gathered during support activities
• Design, integrate, and deploy voice communications systems / subsystems for R&S ATC projects
• Develop system design and review documentation according to customer requirements.
• Serve as technical interface between FAA Level II Support, R&S product design team, and program leadership.
• Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content.
• Install and configure networking and computing systems.
• Provide expert level technical support and troubleshooting of voice communication systems at the Oklahoma City Level II Support facility
• Work closely with the product engineering teams based in Europe and North America.
• Submit trouble tickets utilizing C4C and Microsoft Dynamics.

Your qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying systems for critical infrastructure customers.
• Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and minimal supervision
• Solid understanding and experience in radio and voice communication systems (VCS)
• Excellent understanding of industry best practices and standards.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States, and Europe, up to 10%.
• Strong communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written).
• Proactive, highly organized, analytical and self-managed.
• Ability to re-locate and reside within driving distance of the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
• In order to be considered, candidates must be US citizens and be able to obtain a US Government Public Trust Clearance.

The total compensation for this position is $96K-$130K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
