SNMP-Beispiel: DVM-Management-Center-Überwachung in einem Rundfunknetz
Das Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) kann für unterschiedlichste Anwendungen eingesetzt werden, siehe Rohde & Schwarz Application Note 7BM65 „The Simple Network Management Protocol: Remote Controlling for Monitoring Devices“ (Fernsteuerung und -überwachung über SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)). Insbesondere die Möglichkeit des zentralen Managements von Überwachungssensoren, wie dem R&S®DVM für HF- und Basisbandsignale im digitalen Rundfunk, zeigt das Potenzial dieser Technologie. Das Protokoll allein reicht jedoch nicht aus, um von dieser Managementfunktionalität zu profitieren. Zusätzlich sind spezielle Management-Applikationen erforderlich, die die SNMP-Abfragen umsetzen und das Ergebnis entsprechend grafisch darstellen. Diese Application Note und die dazugehörige SNMP-Beispielapplikation sollen zeigen, wie die R&S®DVM Familie im Rahmen einer solchen Anwendung eingesetzt werden kann. Kunden von Rohde & Schwarz können mithilfe des beiliegenden Quellcodes (Programmiersprache: C#) Änderungen nach eigenen Vorstellungen umsetzen.
