We’re looking for an experienced European Business Partner for Sales Subsidiary Controlling, acting as the finance business partner and controlling lead for designated European sales subsidiaries. He/she will act as a key interface between local subsidiaries and central Group finance. The role focuses on performance controlling, commercial insight and management reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting in line with Group accounting policies, using SAP ECC today and SAP S/4HANA following migration as the core financial system.
The role supports local subsidiary Finance Managers during the planned SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration by providing controlling and management-reporting expertise. The role is not accountable for leading or delivering the migration.
In addition, the role contributes to process alignment and standardization across the Shared Services Financial Controlling team and requires periodic travel across Europe.
Your tasks
- Sales Subsidiary Controlling & SAP Reporting:
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting for assigned sales subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with Group accounting and controlling standards.
- Review and challenge SAP postings (P&L, cost allocations, accruals, provisions)
- Monitor key balance sheet positions relevant to Group performance reporting Business Partnering & Commercial Insight:
- Serve as financial controlling business partner to the sales subsidiary
- Analyze data from SAP to provide insight into revenue, margin, SG&A cost performance to identify deviations versus budget, FC. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles
- Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Use KPIs and dashboards to monitor and explain performance Process Alignment & Shared Services Collaboration:
- Drive process alignment and standardization across the Shared Services Financial Controlling team, supporting sales subsidiaries SAP S/4HANA Migration Support:
- Support local Finance Managers during the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration
- Participate in testing, validation, and reconciliation activities as required
