Your tasks

  • Visit customers to assess their product requirements and to gather information on potential sales and business opportunities
  • Identify potential sales and business opportunities and prospecting to expand customer base
  • Project a uniform organization image to all customers
  • Establish and maintain close contact and liaison with key buyers
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with customers
  • Monitor and perform market intelligence and analysis on competitors’ behavior / tactics / strategies / policies / pricing and report details to Management as required
  • Formulate sales / business plans and strategies for assigned product business in Philippines which are consistent with company’s objectives
  • Excel in exceeding assigned order targets for the year, reviewing and monitoring sales / business plans and targets with Management as required
  • Responsible for making product and sales presentations to customers and most importantly, the pre-presentation discussions
  • Responsible for preparing and compiling sales quotations, appropriate lobbying during pre-tender and tender valuation, and takes leadership in contracts negotiation with customers until contracts are concluded
  • Recommend and schedule Product / Application Specialist and Customer Support Engineer interfacing with the customer to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Aftermarket Sales & Service team(s) on installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Work closely with Sales Order Management team(s) to ensure prompt and smooth order fulfillment
  • Ensure all the above are carried out in accordance to Rohde & Schwarz’s policies, procedures and relevant legislation

Your qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant field of studies
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of engineering and sales, account management, business development and / or market experience in a related industry
  • Candidates from the Engineering function who are keen to switch into Sales are welcome to apply
  • Prior experience in handling government accounts and familiar with government bidding process
  • Strong technical skills in RF testing, wireless communication testing and high-speed digital testing
  • Strong business development and marketing acumen with sound ability to conduct market scanning of products, services by competitors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus
  • Sales and results driven, self-motivated and committed
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Resourceful, pro-active and independent
  • Ability to work with people of different levels to address issues and to attain amicable solutions
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills (oral and written) and relationship management skills
  • Driver’s License and familiar with different PEZA / EPZA in the Philippines
  • Willing to travel within Philippines as required
