SGMA Device - How to change LAN settings from DHCP to static IP address via USB

Description

Please follow instructions below to change LAN settings from DHCP to static IP address via USB.

Resolution

1. Connect USB cable
2. Disconnect Ethernet cable
3. Power up SGMA device
4. Open SGMA-GUI application and scan for instruments (Setup -> Instruments…). If instrument gets connected automatically, continue with step 7
5. In Active column, switch instrument from OFF to ON
6. Close Configure Instruments setup
7. Press device button and select Setup -> Network Settings…

8. Change Address Mode to Static
9. Change IP Address and press Enter key
10. Change Subnet Mask and press Enter key
11. Press Apply button and wait until info message below disappears

12. Close configuration window
13. Disconnect USB cable
14. Connect Ethernet cable
15. Wait until info message below disappears

Obtained new IP address

16. Clear instrument list and scan again for instruments (Setup -> Instruments…)
17. In Active column, switch instrument from OFF to ON
18. Close Configure Instruments setup

Now you can reach the SGMA device with new network settings
