For our EU Test & Measurement System team, we are looking for a highly motivated Product/ Bid Manager based in Madrid, who will act as key interface between our European local Sales Teams and our Global T&M Solution Centers to build up valuable Customer proposals of T&M system solutions for the EU A&D market. The candidate will lead complex end-to-end bidding processes together with local sales force.

Your tasks

  • Global Interface between the EU local Sales Teams and the T&M Solution centers based in Spain, US and India.
  • EU Sales Support: Act as the primary contact person for the EU local sales teams for the A&D system solution catalog and price requests.
  • Bid Management: Own, manage, and coordinate the end-to-end proposal and bidding process in coordination with the local sales teams global solution centers and HQ in Munich :
  • Analyze tender requirements and be responsible for managing the tender process end-to-end
  • Managing the bid process and lead communication with stakeholders e.g. local sales teams, 3rd party, internal departments within the HQ and customers
  • Interface with T&M solution centers to define the most suitable technical solution
  • Prepare and submit compliant proposals to local Sales based on the System Architects’ design;
  • Support local Sales in price negotiations with Customer
  • Assess and minimize project risks in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Maintain the A&D system solution portfolio and catalog in SAP, in coordination with our global T&M solution centers.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Acting as interface to the marketing department for the creation and alignment of sales collaterals.

Your qualifications

  • Engineering Bachelor/Master Degree
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Bid Management, sales operations or technical commercial support.
  • Solid understanding of RF technologies is preferable
  • Proven experience working effectively within an international, cross-functional environment and collaborating across different time zones.
  • Languages: Fluent English (C1/C2 level) and Spanish is mandatory for daily communication with EU Sales organization, HQ and the global solution centers. German (B2/C1) is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent bid management skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
