ローデ・シュワルツは、PCI-SIG仕様に準拠した最新世代のPCIe 5.0および6.0対応ケーブルとコネクタのコンプラインス・テストを正確かつ短時間に行えるように、新しいオプションとしてR&S ZNrunベクトル・ネットワーク・アナライザ自動化スイートを開発しています。たとえばPCIe x8ケーブルを完全自動で検証するには、R&S ZNBベクトル・ネットワーク・アナライザと拡張可能なR&S OSPスイッチコントロール・プラットフォームによるセットアップを同ソフトウェアで制御して、64個のテストポートを持つマルチポートVNAソリューションを構築します。このソリューションなら、すべてのスルー接続とクロストークの全組合せに加えて、合否を評価のための指標計算まで完全なテストが行え、PCIe x8ケーブルのテスト時間はわずか数分にまで短縮されます。これに比べて、手作業でのテストは数時間もかかり、テスト担当エンジニアが接続を間違うリスクも大きくなります。
