We are seeking a motivated and organized Production Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules, coordinating with different departments. If you have strong planning skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Your tasks

  • Maintain the master schedule based on sales forecasts and confirmed customer orders
  • Determine the most efficient order of operations
  • Generate and release work orders to the production floor, specify quantities, deadlines, and routing
  • Calculate "Load vs. Capacity" to ensure the factory is not over-committed or under-utilized
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to expedite delayed materials that threaten the production timeline
  • Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory to identify bottlenecks in the production line
  • Meet with Production Supervisors to review the daily plan and adjust for machine breakdowns or staffing shortages
  • Handle "Rush Orders" by re-prioritizing the schedule without causing a domino effect of delays on other orders
  • Analyze actual production times versus estimated times to refine and improve future scheduling accuracy
  • Track key metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Schedule Adherence, and Cycle Time
  • Maintain a clear view of the order backlog and communicate realistic ship dates to the order management team
