FSH4Remote is a free-of-charge program for connecting the R&S®FSH4/8 handheld spectrum analyzer or the R&S®FSC spectrum analyzer to a remote computer, and for providing remote control of the functions from the computer. Some of the new Rohde & Schwarz instruments, such as the R&S®OSP and R&S®FSC, only have a LAN interface. To be able to operate these instruments in a purely GPIB system, a converter must be connected between the instrument and the GPIB. Rohde & Schwarz now offers such a GPIB to LAN converter.

This application note describes the basic frequency filter measurements that are often required during service repairs, during development of simple circuits and for training purposes. This application note describes the configuration of a Miracast wireless video transmission system and how to measure the delay times between a smart phone or tablet (source) and a television / monitor (sink) display.
