Training Categories

Operational - focuses on teaching your users how to operate a particular parts of the solution effectively to carry out their day-to-day tasks.

Creative - focuses on teaching your creative staff how to create an implement for example exciting new television branding with the current available graphics tools. Allow your creative staff to use their time creatively by optimizing the automation and reduce the need to create unnecessary amount of versions for the same graphic.

Technical - focuses on teaching your support team to have all the knowledge they need to maximize the up time of the system. The training covers subjects such as the hardware, workflow, configuration, trouble shooting, logging, software updates etc.

Superuser - focuses on teaching your senior staff who oversees the operation of the system and assist in the implementation of the system. After the solution goes live, superusers may be involved in the modification of the workflow and other changes.

CREATE

CREATE Introduction

Outline: This course covers the different ways in which CREATE can be used in both production and transmission. It provides an introduction to using CREATE covering 2D and 3D capability together with how the system can be integrated as part of a manual or automated workflow.

Duration: 2 Days

Audience: System designers and integration staff, also other staff needing to know about CREATE but not intending to use it.

CREATE for Designers

Outline: This is a specialized course for creative designers and covers how to build and manage pages in CREATE specifically for use with Promote. The course will cover how rules are created and how they interact with fields in a Pixel Power job.

Duration: 4 Days

Audience: New users and first-time owners of a Pixel Power CREATE/StreamMaster PRIME system who will have plenty of time to practice with CREATE before they need to build templates for use on-air.

CREATE for Gallium FACTORY

Outline: This is a specialized course for creative designers and covers how to build and manage pages in CREATE specifically for use with Gallium FACTORY.

Duration: 4 Days

Audience: New users and first-time owners of a Pixel Power CREATE/Gallium FACTORY system who will have plenty of time to practice with CREATE before they need to build templates for use in Gallium FACTORY.

CREATE Plugins and Using JavaScript Within Graphics

Outline: This is an introductory course which explains how to use Java Script in 3D pages. It will enable delegates to understand how the library of Plugins works and how they can start to write their own.

Duration: 1 Day

Audience: Designers, creative staff or other technical staff.

CREATE Refresher

Outline: This course provides refresher training on the operational aspects of CREATE covering all controls and settings needed to build and run a job. This course is designed to enable users with previous CREATE experience to migrate to the latest version of software. It is also useful for users who have had training in the past but feel they may have gaps in their knowledge.

Duration: 2 Days

Audience: Designers and other creative staff familiar with CREATE.

CREATE Graphics Workshop

Outline: This workshop combines update or transfer training on CREATE to equip experienced graphics designers with the knowledge to implement the required branding including practical exercises on the templates and graphics required for the customer.

Duration: 5 Days

Audience: Senior designers and other creative staff.

Gallium PLAYOUT

Gallium PLAYOUT System Overview

Outline:This course provides an overview of a Gallium system workflow. It is aimed at project managers or lead engineers wishing to gain an overall understanding of the system architecture and installation.

Duration: 1 Hour

Audience: Anyone involved with a Gallium system, administrative staff, operators, engineers, project managers etc.

Gallium PLAYOUT Scheduler

Outline: This course covers the process of a schedule import and as-run log export from a Gallium PLAYOUT system. It is aimed at those responsible for creating daily transmission schedules to be imported into Gallium PLAYOUT and to review system as-run logs. Schedulers will gain knowledge of the system workflow and become confident sending playlist updates to Gallium.

Duration: 2 Hours

Audience: Scheduling staff or members of the traffic department or other such operational staff

Gallium PLAYOUT Technical Training

Outline: This course is designed for system engineers and support staff to gain a basic understanding of the technical and operational aspects of a Gallium PLAYOUT system. The course focuses on the customer specific installation and system workflow, maintenance, software updates and troubleshooting.

Gallium PLAYOUT Engineering Training
