Soluciones y consejos para la banda FR1 de NR en el modo de enlace descendente TDD

5G New Radio (NR) es una tecnología de radiocomunicaciones especificada por 3GPP y fue primero lanzada en el Release 15 de 3GPP. Se diseño específicamente para tres casos de uso, es decir, banda ancha móvil mejorada (eMBB), comunicaciones de tipo de máquina masiva (mMTC) y comunicaciones ultraconfiables de baja latencia (URLLC). Entre estos tres casos de uso, la eMBB representa en realidad una evolución más de la comunicación móvil de banda ancha del estándar LTE. Según los requerimientos técnicos de rendimiento definidos por IMT-2020, al desplegar la tecnología 5G, se espera que las velocidades de transferencia de datos máximas de la aplicación eMBB alcancen 20 Gbps en dirección del enlace descendente (DL) y 10 Gbps en dirección del enlace ascendente (UL), respectivamente. Los casos de uso típicos de eMBB son aplicaciones que consumen grandes cantidades de datos, como streaming de video de 8k de resolución, realidad virtual (VR), realidad aumentada (AR), etc.La verificación de un equipo de usuario (UE) abierto a la red 5G con respecto a su máximo flujo de datos alcanzable bajo condiciones de prueba controlables y determinadas es un proceso esencial durante la fase de diseño del producto. La verificación centrada en el rendimiento a través de la identificación del cuello de botella del flujo de datos, del benchmarking de productos contra un dispositivo dorado mejora enormemente la experiencia de usuario al final.Este documento se enfoca en la gama de frecuencias 1 (FR1) de 5G NR con modo TDD ( dúplex por división en el tiempo) en modo de funcionamiento E-UTRAN New-radio Dual Connectivity (ENDC). Debido a que la capa física de la 5G NR ofrece un exceso de flexibilidad, la motivación aquí es proporcionar un tipo de pauta de la configuración de los parámetros relevantes para estimular la capacidad máxima de rendimiento del dispositivo. Se describe el estatus quo de las soluciones de Rohde & Schwarz en el momento en que se crea la nota de aplicación.
