I would like to do a Reference Calibration using ELEKTRA and Field Probe. For this I have to do Reference Calibrations at 16 positions, this does mean my Field Probe have to be set to each of the 16 predefined points. I set the probe positions manually, so an error can occur by mistake. Is it possible to repeat a measurement for a sensor position, if needed?
In ELEKTRA, you define the sequence of the Field Probe positions in the Template for the Reference Calibration. In the example below, measurements are made first in position 1, then 5, 9, 13, 16, and so on.
If you run a Test based on the Template, you start with position 1. After this, with a manual Positioner, ELEKTRA will prompt you to move the field probe to the next position. In our example, this is position 5. You confirm the position change with "Continue".
Once this position has been measured, you continue with position 9 and so on.
If you find out at the end that you have made a mistake at position 5, for example, and you want to repeat the measurement at position 5, you don't have to re-run the Test completely. In "Measurement Flow Control" you can deactivate the positions that were OK with a right click (= "Disable Step") and repeat the measurement at position 5 by selecting "Set as Active Step".
If you continue the Test, the software will repeatedly prompt you to set position 5.
You can then repeat the measurement at position 5, again. The software will ask you if you want to overwrite the recorded table at position 5. Confirm this with "Yes".
In the Test, the results of the different Probe positions can be found in the Test Components under Reference Calibrations\Loop Results.
Now, you are ready to continue with Field Uniformity Evaluation.
