R&S®SMW-K40 GSM/EDGE
- Información general
- Features & Benefits
General
- Generation of signals as transmitted from base stations
- Generation of signals as transmitted by user equipment
- Available signal modes:
- Unframed: generation of a signal without slot and frame structure and power ramping, with symbol rate and filtering in line with the GSM standard
- Single-framed: configuration of a signal via a single-frame structure
- Multiframed: configuration of simple multiframe scenarios by defining and combining two frames; a repetition factor can be specified for each frame
- Flexible slot configuration
- Slots can be switched on/off separately
- Power levels can be configured per slot
- All necessary burst types are supported (e.g. full- and half-rate normal; EDGE, synchronization, access, frequency correction)
- Support of half-rate slots
- Support of multislots for HSCSD and GPRS
- GSM/EDGE multicarrier support
GSM
- Supported modulation schemes: MSK, FSK
- Adjustable symbol rate
- Default settings: MSK modulation at 270.833 ksps and Gauss filtering (in accordance with the GSM standard)
EDGE
- Supported modulation scheme: 8PSK
- Adjustable symbol rate
- Default settings: 8PSK modulation (3/8 rotation) at 270.833 ksps and Gauss linearized filtering (in accordance with the EDGE standard)
